Non-Olympic Trials 2012 - To race in Plovdiv, Bulgaria

This year's Trials has a twist of young blood among us. With the juniors racing as well, cars are showing up with painted windows saying 'Bulgaria or Bust'. That's so junior like : ) but the spirit is fun.

Its hot here in Princeton as only it can be. Last night thunderstorms brought tree branches down on the light posts and wiring was everywhere. Streets closed, and branches coat the tar.

I start racing the heats tomorrow, as the schedule below shows:

"In the lightweight women’s event seven scullers, including Ursula Grobler (Pretoria, South Africa) andKatherine Robinson (Everett, Wash.), will attempt to win the event along with 
Meghan Sarbanis (Hampstead, N.H.). Sarbanis finished fourth in the 2009 World Rowing Championships while Grobler finished fourth in 2011.
